My Dear Friend of Democracy,
Perhaps nothing shows the diversity of society better than photography. Its frozen moments of the present give us the opportunity to look closely.
I love to capture diversity. Because the core of democracy is the freedom of each individual to express themselves and live the way they want to live. Therefore, diversity is the result of a vibrant democracy.
That's why I not only write on this blog but also occasionally post photos that I’ve taken on my travels through diverse Europe. For example, the photo above was taken on 6 August 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia; I call it "we, behind tiger woman.”
