My Dear Friend of Democracy,
There was a time when women had to play their roles. As mothers, service workers, as housewives, mainly in lower-paying jobs, if paid at all.
These times are disappearing. Women are conquering the world. They travel on their own, earn increasingly as much as men, pursue careers.
Not everyone can handle this. Some want to turn back the clock. To a time when men were still men. And in charge.
✊ Let us make sure that these times do not return. A functioning democracy consists of people with equal rights. In this sense, all friends of democracy are feminists.
