Hello, Friends of Democracy,
There are fewer stories this week since I am on holiday in Liechtenstein, the sixth smallest state in the world (with a floor space of less than a quarter of the city of Berlin), a prince who still is quite powerful and yet a country that is an exemplary democracy. How does this work? Does the small size of the country play a role in this connection? - I'll think about it mostly while hiking through Liechtenstein (it is still big enough to contain 32 mountains with a height of at least 2,000 meters) - and I'll let you know what I find out.
See you,
Johannes
