My Dear Friend of Democracy,

In case you missed it, the European Soccer Championship has already ended. Friuli won the men's competition, and South Tyrol won the women's competition (with a landslide victory of 11:1 against North Frisia).

✊ The quality of a democracy is reflected in how it treats minorities. In flawed democracies, the majority decides to the steady detriment of minorities. In full-functioning democracies, the dignity of every individual is central, regardless of whether they are part of a large or small group.
