My Dear Friend of Democracy,
Do you want to know the truth about why I write a daily letter to you?
Honestly, it is because I want to understand how to strengthen democracy.
I realized many years ago that I must write things down to understand them. At the same time, I can remember things much longer if I look for my own words.
Writing is sustainable learning.
But, hey, it is not only about me. It is also about you.
Otherwise, I would entrust the texts to my diary. Instead, I want to get in touch with others about my thoughts. I want to get in touch with you. That you can deal with these thoughts, contradict them, agree with them, oppose them. That we can exchange ideas. That we can work together for democracy.
That is why I write a letter to you every day.
See you in Europe,
Johannes
